The Private Security Industry plays a crucial role in our society, particularly in safeguarding people and their assets. As technology advances, the challenges to security continue to escalate, affecting not only individual citizens but also formal sectors, including organizations, companies, and businesses. In this context, we recognize the growing importance of data and the immense power it holds. When not adequately protected, data can lead to significant losses and violation of human right, but data also presents opportunities for those who know how to harness it effectively.
At PRISEP-Tanzania, we sincerely appreciate the Coalition of Women Human Rights Defenders (CWHRDs) and DefendDefenders for organizing the training titled "Usalama wa Kidigitali" (Digital Security Training) and for including PRISEP among the seven coalition members who participated. This training has significantly enhanced our daily operations, benefiting not only us as an organization but also the stakeholders we continue to work with.
